Obituary for Annie A. Walker

Annie Alstine Walker, 93, of Middletown, VA died on Monday, September 10, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Walker was born on September 17, 1924 in Capon Bridge, WV, a daughter of the late Harrison and Lovenia Randolph Washington. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness west congregation in Winchester, VA. Annie loved thrift stores, yard sales and decorating her home.

Mrs. Walker was married to the late Samuel Walker.

Surviving are a son: Roger Walker of Middletown, VA; three daughters: Barbara Walker of Louisville, KY; Virginia Burns of Winchester, VA; Karen Cain (Greg) of Middletown, VA; two sisters: Tottie Butler of Stephens City, VA; Rosie Jackson of New Jersey; 13 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a son: Samuel Walker and 20 brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be held at the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory in Capon Bridge, WV on Monday, September 17th at 12 PM.Officiating will be Brorhie Erekaife`. Interment will be privately held at a later date in the Orrick Cemetery in Winchester, VA.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
