Obituary for Russell C. Lundin

Russell Clifford Lundin, 84, of Capon Bridge, WV died on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the home of his granddaughter in Charlottesville, VA.

Russell was born on April 25, 1934 in Little York, NJ, the son of the late Edward F. and Maude Pier Lundin. He was a maintenance supervisor for CIBA Geigy Chemical Company in Toms River, NJ and worked for Western Electric in Kearny, NJ. Russell worked for both company’s for over 20 years, he was a graduate of Thomas Edison Vocational Technical High School in Elizabeth, NJ, a member of Masonic Fraternity 33rd Scottish Rite, Harmony Lodge # 18 in Toms River, NJ and was a United States Navy Veteran having served during the Korean War.

Russell married Katherine Brindley Lundin on November 5, 1955 in Roselle, NJ. Katherine died on July 27, 2007.

Surviving is a daughter Linda M. Lundin-Seidel and her husband Eric K. Seidel, Jr. of Charlottesville, VA; a sister: Jean Lloyd of Charlottesville, VA; two grandchildren: Alex and Kaitlin Seidel; great-granddaughter: Noele Seidel and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory in Capon Bridge, WV on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Michael Funkhouser. Interment will be in the Capon Chapel Cemetery near Capon Bridge, WV.

Memorial contributions may be made to Warm the Children through fund accounts with every branch of The Bank of Romney and FNB Bank throughout Hampshire County, WV.
