Obituary for James S. "Jimmy" Smith

James Simpson “Jimmy” Smith, 58, of Augusta, WV on Monday, April 30, 2018, the Philadelphia Eagles Nation gained one of it’s greatest fans in spirit. James Smith (Smitty) will forever have a seat on the 50 yard line at every Eagles game. Fly Eagles Fly!

Jimmy was a good man. He always tried to better himself. Life sometimes threw him some difficult curves but he always got up and tried again. Attributes he strived to instill in his family. Jimmy loved music and rhythm which he delighted in sharing with family and friends. Though he looked like a regular guy, he was an adventurer, reaching out into the cosmos and alternative ways of being. He kept an open mind which he balanced with tradition and science. Jimmy was a loving husband, father and friend. He was a magician, a magi and an explore. His sweet spirit shall be missed.

His wife Eva and his children Ben, Jared and Lacey will hold his beautiful memory and love in their hearts for eternity. Steve and Dale will miss their brother.

Fly free sweet spirt on earth or better, suffer no more the bondage of the flesh. Become now one with your light body and fly free. Know you lived well and loved much and you shall be missed dear beloved. But for now, like a beautiful leaf in Autumn, rest gently on the Earths forest floor and be reborn. You are remembered loved and valued, thank you for BEing Jim.
