Jerry was born March 26, 1955 in Winchester, VA, the son of late Lucille P. and Roy S. Giffin. He was a 1973 graduate of Hampshire High School in Romney, WV and a 1977 graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Jerry is engaged to Katie Jo Brown and has two sons: Lucas and Ben. He is the proud grandfather of Summer, Lily, Ally and Caroline. Jerry is a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church near Gore, VA where he serves as a trustee and the treasurer of Bethel Cemter. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, and a member of the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association. He is an honorary member of the Capon Bridge Fire Department. Jerry has been a licensed funeral director for over 50 years. He resides in Capon Bridge, WV.

Lucas was born on June 23, 1981 in Winchester, VA, the son of Jerry Giffin and Robin Clise Henry. He was a  2000 graduate of Hampshire High School in Romney, WV and a 2005 graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Lucas married Amanda Nice on September 10, 2005. They have two daughters: Summer Gail & Lily Grace. Lucas is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, West Virginia Funeral Directors Association, Wardensville Lions Club, and Sons of the American Legion Post # 137. He is a certified crematory operator. Lucas and his family reside in Capon Bridge, WV.

David was born on October 1, 1996 in Winchester, VA and is the son of Jack and Beth Giffin Delawder. He graduated in 2015 from Hampshire High School in Romney, WV. David graduated in 2017 from Potomac State College where he played two years for the Catamount baseball program. In 2020 he graduated from  Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science where he was awarded the Champion Award for Mortuary Science Excellence. David attends Winchester Church of God. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association. David is also a certified funeral celebrant and a certified crematory operator. He resides in Capon Bridge with his wife Sarah and dogs Brinley & Waylon.

Aaron was born on March 4, 1982 in Winchester, VA, the son of Denny and Sandy Hott. A 2000 graduate of Hampshire High School in Romney, WV and a 2004 graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Aaron is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, West Virginia Funeral Directors & Crematory Operator Association. He recently moved back to Hampshire County after 14 years as a funeral director/crematory operator in Kansas. Aaron resides in Augusta, WV.

He was a  2003 graduate of Hampshire High School in Romney, WV and a 2007 graduate of Fairmont State University. Ben married Katy Saville on June 6, 2015. They have two daughters: Alexandra "Ally" Catherine and Caroline Lucille. Ben is a member of the Sons of the American Legion and a former member of Tau Beta Lota Fraternity in Fairmont, WV. He is a certified crematory operator currently. Ben and his family reside in Capon Bridge, WV.

A 1999 graduate of Hampshire High School in Romney, WV and a 2002 graduate of Fairmont State University in Fairmont, WV. Amanda married Lucas Giffin on September 10, 2005. They have two daughters: Summer Gail and Lily Grace. Amanda has her life insurance licensed and is a pre-need consultant for Giffin Funeral Home. She is pleased to be of any assistance to families during their time of need. Amanda resides in Capon Bridge, WV.

Eric was born on August 19, 1992, in Winchester, VA and is the son of Steven A. Keckley and Kimberly D. Keckley. He was a 2011 graduate of Hampshire High School in Romney, WV and was in the FFA. Eric is a volunteer at the Capon Bridge Volunteer Fire Department and serves as President.  You can often find him working in the food shack during community events. He is a certified crematory operator. Eric’s hobbies include floating the Cacapon River, riding his Can-Am side by side, and hunting. Eric resides in Capon Bridge, WV.

Beth Giffin Delawder Administrative Assistant

Beth was born May 25, 1958 in Winchester, VA, the youngest daughter of the late Roy & Lucy Giffin. She was a 1976 graduate of Hampshire High School, a 1980 graduate of Potomac State College, and a 1982 and 2008 graduate of Frostburg State University. Beth married Jack Delawder on December 30. 1994.  They have three sons, David, Matthew and Joshua, along with one granddaughter Ella JoLee Delawder. Beth attends Capon Bridge United Methodist Church and is a trustee. She is a Board Member of the Capon Bridge Library  and a member of Capon Bridge American Legion Post 137 Ladies Auxillary.  She retired after 37 years of teaching in 2018, and has been working part time with her family at Giffin Funeral Home.

David "Doc" was born October 21, 1957, in Winchester, VA and the son of Doris Holliday and Harold "Bud" Whitacre. He was a 1975 graduate of Hampshire High School in Romney, WV, a 1977 graduate of Potomac State College in Keyser, WV, a 1979 and 1982 graduate of West Virginia University. He works here part-time after 42 years of service as a School Counselor at Paw Paw Schools and Hancock Elementary and Hancock Middle-Senior High School in Hancock, MD. Doc married Lisa Bradfield on April 6, 1985 and they are the parents of two sons, T.J. and Ethan, and two daughters, Katelyn and Loren. Doc currently resides in Capon Bridge, WV and attends Hope Christian Church in Augusta, WV.

Rick was born on May 8, 1954 in Cumberland, MD. A 1972 gradute of Allegheny High School in Cumberland, MD. Rick married Linda Hardy on March 16, 1974. He and LInda had two children: Jocelyn and Melanie and four grandchildren Kaleb, Ethan, Izaiah and Kaliah. Rick enjoys camping, traveling and his Ministry. He resides in Romney, WV.

Trenton was born on November 3, 2006 in Winchester, VA the son of Debra Harley Timbrook and the late Joshua R. Timbrook. A 2025 graduate of Hampshire High School in Romney, WV, he is currently attending Potomac State College and was recruited to be on the schools inaugural track team. Trent was the recipient of the 2025 Rannells Award - the schools prestigious top athletic honor.  He dates "Pap" Giffin's granddaughter, Summer.  He currently resides in Romney, WV.

Bob was born July 6, 1953 in Piedmont, WV. A 1971 graduate of Valley High School in Lonaconing, MD. Bob is a Army Vietnam Veteran. He is married to Shawn Ritter Mangold. Bob does all of our long distance trasportations. He resides in Berkeley Springs, WV.

Carl was born on May 9, 1968, in Winchester, VA, the son of Ruth Nitz and the late Kenneth Nitz. He was a 1987 graduate of Hampshire High School in Romney, WV. Carl has spent his life in service and spending over 20 years with the Capon Bridge Vol. Fire Department. If you have ever attended a service or visitation at Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory you would have been greeted by a friendly smile and Carl would stop traffic for you to cross safely. In 15 years helping the public cross busy rt. 50, Carl has only missed 3 funerals. Carl can been seen volunteering at any community event, and he attends Healing Waters Biker Church in Capon Bridge, WV. He enjoys going on road trips, hanging out with friends, and watching movies. Carl resides in Capon Bridge, WV.
